Friday the 6th of August was Australia's Primary Principals Day, a day to celebrate the important work done by principals across our primary school sector. This year has continued to be a challenge for our principals, but we have seen their true capacity and calibre as they showed their leadership through the ongoing difficulties faced as a result of COVID-19. 

Kwinana is no different, and I was lucky enough to host a majority of the principals and deputy principals in my local office as a way of recognising their ongoing hard work in supporting their schools and local communities. 

As well as being a place of learning, our schools are important community hubs, principals and deputy principals play a vital role in the lives and education of our children, and in the broader community as leaders. To all the principals and deputy principals across Western Australia, THANK YOU.
